One of the toughest adventure races in the world!
Starting June 21st 2026, the X-Pyr sees 50 teams race across the Pyrenees from the Bay of Biscay to the Mediterranean, navigating a series of waypoints set by the organisers across peaks and valleys alike. Pilots move entirely self-supported, carrying only the essentials — glider, harness, reserve parachute, helmet, phone, and live tracking device. With no fixed stages and up to 14 hours of movement allowed per day, the race is a continuous push from start to finish. The first team to reach the goal wins, with remaining pilots having until Saturday to complete the crossing.
