Vercofly

To encourage a strong sense of camaraderie, all participants spend each night at the Becs de Bosson refuge. Along with the famously warm welcome from the caretaker, the ranger, and even the resident cats, the refuge enjoys a prime location between the Val d’Anniviers and the Val d’Hérens.

Each morning, a ground-based reference point is selected collectively and must be validated by everyone. After that, participants are free to validate as many additional reference points as they like. These points include huts, lakes, landmarks, and other sites that have been featured in past Vercofly events.

The only distinction between the two categories is that, in the competition category, participants may travel exclusively on foot or by air.
