The Pyrénées Air Tour is a three-day self-supported hike and fly traverse through the central Pyrenees, where pilots move exclusively on foot or by air, carrying all their own gear. Alongside the main route, optional checkpoints — such as lakes, summits, and mountain huts — carry varying point values, allowing competitors to build extra scores through strategic route choices. Each night is spent at a mountain refuge, where pilots gather to share experiences and plan the following day's approach. Participants must return to the start by Saturday afternoon.
